Other services include coaching, individual consulting and small and large group training seminars related to research design, ethics, community-based participatory research, collaborative science, dissemination and communications.
I also teach and tutor related to research methods, specializing in training professionals and students who will not be doing research as a career, but need to understand how research works so that they can interpret it, and critique it. I teach a popular workshop for birth workers about how to understand and make decisions around research evidence, and can tailor workshop content to other professions.

"Before I so wonderfully landed in Nechama’s intro to research course, I had failed research 3 times. Nechama made research understandable and not just for those with “academia minds.” She often used helpful and engaging (also super creative and hilarious) examples with a social justice flair, which made the material make sense and have a purpose, or at least be about peeing on Mike Pence's lawn. I successfully completed Nechama’s course, and two more of her research courses, and completed my MSW, which I thought was impossible. Thank you, Nechama!"
